On May 27th, 2023, over 50 supporters of The Resilience Project came together to take on one of the most intense challenges out there: The Murph. For those unfamiliar, the Murph is more than just a workout. Named in honor of Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who courageously sacrificed his life in Afghanistan, this workout serves as a testament to the grit and determination of our armed forces. It includes a one-mile run, followed by 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and concludes with another one-mile run. It’s a challenge that embodies the resilience and tenacity of the military community.
This was our first year organizing the Murph Challenge, and it was a huge success! With over 50 dedicated participants, we pushed ourselves to the limit while raising awareness and funds for our cause. Thanks to the overwhelming support, we’re excited to establish our presence and mission within the community.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible! Your support has set the stage for many more impactful events to come. We can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in the future. Let’s keep building this community, one challenge at a time
